QR codes that keep working
Make a code for a link, a Wi-Fi network or a contact card. The code carries your text itself: no redirect, no subscription, nothing to expire. It is drawn right here in your browser.
Links open in the phone's browser. Plain text is shown as it is.
Phones offer to join the network when they scan the code. The password is inside the code, so share the printout only with people you would tell it to.
Scanning opens a "new contact" card on the phone. Fill in only what you want to share.

Questions
Will my code stop working one day?
No. The link or text is written into the code itself, so it works for as long as the link does. Some generators make "dynamic" codes that go through their own short link and stop working when a trial ends. This page doesn't do that.
Is what I type sent to a server?
No. Your browser draws the code. The page makes no network requests after it loads, and it keeps working if you go offline.
Which error correction should I choose?
Higher levels let a code survive scratches, dirt or a logo on top, but make it denser. Medium suits screens and clean prints. Choose High for stickers that live outdoors.
PNG or SVG?
PNG for messages and documents. SVG for print and design tools: it stays sharp at any size.
How big should a printed code be?
At least 2 cm across. For codes read from further away, a rough rule is one tenth of the scanning distance: 30 cm wide for a poster read from 3 metres. Always test a printout with two different phones.
